The new license will allow Bitget to provide clients with services such as exchange, trading, transfers, storage, and public offerings of digital currencies. Users will also have access to wallets.

"Successfully obtaining the VASP license in Bulgaria is an important step in Bitget's strategy to expand within the European Union," said Hong Ng, the chief legal officer of Bitget.

In 2025, Bitget will continue to expand its regulatory activities in cooperation with regulators around the world.
