Three men set up illegal mining farm in Makeyevka
In Makeyevka (DPR), law enforcement officers came across a group of men who organized illegal cryptocurrency mining at home. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

It was established that 33 units of mining equipment were installed in the suspects' homes, which used a high-tech cooling system based on "dry water". The peculiarity of the case was that the equipment was connected to the power grid bypassing the meters, which allowed the attackers not to pay for the energy consumed.
The men had been engaged in illegal activities for a long time, and the issue of initiating a criminal case against the detainees is currently being decided. 5 years behind bars and a fine of up to 80 thousand rubles. In addition, they are required to compensate the energy company for damages, the amount of which is being specified.
Earlier, the acting director of the company "Dagenergo", which is a branch of "Rosseti North Caucasus", Arsen Gadzhiev said that they managed to shut down a cryptocurrency mining farm located on the territory of a canning factory in the village of Khadzhalmakhi.
