Russia blocks crypto exchange monitoring site
The Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology, and Mass Media (Roskomnadzor) has blocked access to the major cryptocurrency exchange monitoring service BestChange.ru. Users now see a black frame when attempting to access the site.

It should be noted that the agency has blocked the platform for the fourth time. The website was first blocked in 2017, again in 2019, and the last block occurred in the summer of 2020. All of these blocks were based on court rulings that found the site guilty of hosting prohibited information, circulating monetary surrogates, or legalizing cryptocurrency.
As of today, the site remains on the list of blocked platforms.
A representative from BestChange commented that the block may have been triggered by the implementation of certain provisions in the law on Bitcoin mining and cryptocurrency advertising, which restrict digital asset advertising, including services that allow transactions through Russian infrastructure.
