She noted that this issue is currently being worked out jointly with the Central Bank of Russia and other interested market participants. Let us recall that on May 28, 2025, the Central Bank gave permission to issue financial instruments for qualified investors, whose profitability will be tied to crypto assets, while the cryptocurrency itself is not transferred - the settlement is made in rubles. After that, the Moscow Exchange and the St. Petersburg Commodity Exchange announced the launch of cryptocurrency futures. Sber is also working on the issue of structured bonds linked to digital assets, and T-Bank and Alfa-Bank have already presented their products in the form of digital financial assets tied to the Bitcoin rate or ETF shares for this cryptocurrency.

During a business breakfast held at the All-Russian Grain Forum, representatives of Rosselkhozbank, the Central Bank, the National Commodity Exchange and a number of agricultural enterprises discussed modern financial instruments used in the export of agricultural products. Participants emphasized the importance of reducing logistics costs and discussed the potential for using digital assets in this area. Particular attention was paid to the idea of creating a BRICS Grain Exchange, which could become an alternative to Western trading platforms. Such a system would allow for the formation of an independent price for grain within the association of countries and reduce dependence on international sanctions.

Experts noted that such a platform could contribute to fairer pricing and provide additional protection for Russian farmers in the context of a changing foreign economic environment.

It was previously reported that from January 1, 2026, public sector workers in Russia could begin receiving salaries in the digital ruble.
