President of Argentina Justified Post About Memecoin Libra
President of Argentina Javier Milei commented on the cryptocurrency scandal, against which he was faced with lawsuits and even calls for impeachment. His statements were reported by Bloomberg.

The politician admitted that he had met with the creators of the memecoin Libra, adding that his post on social media was not intended to persuade people to invest in the currency.
"I am not an expert. My specialty is economic growth, with or without money. As a guy who is a super enthusiast of technology and sees it as a tool for financing entrepreneurs' projects, I share information," said Milei.
It is worth noting that on February 16, lawyers initiated a criminal case against the president. His political opponents also took advantage of the scandal. The left-wing Peronist opposition accused him of involvement in crypto fraud and insisted on impeachment due to alleged ethical violations.
The scandal occurred after Milei posted a message supporting the memecoin Libra on social media.
