Phantom is not planning to conduct a token airdrop

The Phantom wallet has dispelled rumors that it intends to initiate a token transfer in addition to its social discovery feature, which will soon be launched for customers.

The wallet developers noted on social media that they have seen some assumptions about an airdrop related to this feature and have no plans to release a token. But they are "excited about social discovery on Phantom" and are "actively working to make it something that everyone will enjoy".

Previously, we reported that Phantom has made it possible to open a crypto wallet using only an email address and a four-digit PIN code.

The feature is already operational in the Phantom apps.
