Miners are earning less from Bitcoin mining - JPMorgan

Analysts at the U.S. investment bank JPMorgan stated that in the first two weeks of March, miners earned approximately $48,300 in daily block rewards, which is 11% less than in February. The corresponding report is presented on the financial institution's website.

According to estimates, the total hash rate has not changed compared to the end of last month. In the first two weeks of March, the Bitcoin network's hash rate increased by 2 EH/s to an average of 811 EH/s. The average BTC price fell by about 10%, which negatively impacted the crypto mining sector.

The share of the network's hash rate belonging to public U.S. mining companies is about 30%. Last year, it was 29% at the end of the third quarter and 25% at the end of the fourth quarter.

Earlier, experts from CryptoQuant presented a report indicating that the cryptocurrency market is experiencing the lowest demand for Bitcoin since the beginning of 2025.
