MicroStrategy, the largest publicly traded Bitcoin holder, has purchased an additional 11,000 BTC worth 1.1 billion dollars, bringing its total cryptocurrency holdings to 461,000 BTC. This was reported by The Block.

As of today, the company holds 461,000 Bitcoins—approximately 2% of the total global supply. The cryptocurrency was acquired at an average price of around 63,610 dollars per coin. The purchase was funded using investor money raised through the issuance of 3,012,072 company shares.
