LINK and AAVE cryptocurrency growth linked to Trump's policy
Cryptocurrencies Chainlink (LINK) and Aave (AAVE) surged in price by nearly 30% after they were acquired by the crypto platform World Liberty Financial, which is associated with U.S. President Donald Trump.
On the night of December 12, the project purchased $10 million in ETH as well as $1 million each in AAVE and LINK. Experts from the crypto community speculated that World Liberty Financial's acquisition of tokens is part of broader plans by the U.S. leader for the coming months. Trump is allegedly buying LINK cryptocurrencies that will benefit him in executing his plans.
Chainlink community representative Zach Rhines said that World Liberty Financial, as Trump's platform, adopted the Chainlink standard for data transmission and interoperability earlier this year, the recent $1 million LINK purchase has only strengthened the long-term ties between the two ecosystems.
It is worth noting that the rise in the price of Chainlink cryptocurrency has allowed it to surpass Toncoin (TON) and Shiba Inu (SHIB) in market capitalization.
