In Russia, cryptocurrency trading has been restricted for certain investors
The Ministry of Finance and the Bank of Russia have agreed to jointly launch an experimental regime banning cryptocurrency transactions for unqualified investors. TASS reports.

According to Deputy Finance Minister Ivan Chebeskov, the authorities want to bring the Russian digital asset market out of the "grey zone".
“We don't just support this idea, but are actively working on it together with the Central Bank. Our position has always been that the digital currency market should be as regulated and legalized as possible," said the official.
The experimental legal regime, under which cryptocurrency buying and selling will be allowed in Russia, will be controlled by the Central Bank. Chebeskov noted that such an approach will ensure efficiency, minimize violations, and become "an important step towards the full legalization of cryptocurrencies in the country".
Earlier, it was reported that the Central Bank of Russia proposed allowing qualified individuals to trade digital assets as part of a three-year experimental legal regime.
