An illegal mining farm was shut down in Dagestan
Energy officials in Dagestan discovered a large mining farm in Makhachkala that was illegally connected to the power grid. This was reported by the acting director of "Dagenergo," Arsen Gadzhiev, on his Telegram channel.

He wrote that there were a total of 408 ASIC miners in the premises. The volume of stolen energy resources exceeded 27 million kWh. The damage is estimated at more than 180 million rubles. The materials of the case have been forwarded to law enforcement for further investigation.
It should be noted that the region is among the subjects of Russia where a ban on cryptocurrency mining and participation in mining pools has been introduced from January 1, 2025, to March 15, 2031.
