HTX Exchange Gives Away $200,000 in Honor of Bitcoin Pizza Day
Cryptocurrency exchange HTX has launched a two-week promotion in honor of Bitcoin Pizza Day, which is celebrated annually on May 22.
This year, the company, together with seven popular blockchain projects — SunPump, APENFT, JUST Protocol, WINkLink, BitTorrent, Steem and MEVerse — is raffling off a prize pool of $200,000. Bitcoin Pizza Day is directly linked to a historical event: on May 22, 2010, programmer Laszlo Heneitz bought two Papa John's pizzas for 10,000 BTC — the first mass purchase in the history of cryptocurrency. Now the HTX exchange has decided to immortalize this day with a large-scale marketing campaign.
The promotion will run from May 13 to May 26, 2025. To qualify for prizes, users must:
- read the official post "HTX Celebrates Pizza Day: $200,000 Giveaway";
- visit the chart page (K-line) of one of the participating tokens (SUN, BTT, WIN, NFT, JST, STEEM or MEV) and stay there for at least three seconds in the comments section.
Daily drawings take place early in the morning. Participants can win:
- project tokens;
- discount coupons for commissions;
- Margin Trading Vouchers;
- futures bonuses;
- APY increasers.
On Bitcoin Pizza Day itself, May 22, there will be a double draw: two rounds — at 05:00 and 15:00 Moscow time — with a total prize pool of $100,000. All winnings will be available in the user's personal account in the "My Rewards" and "Assets" sections. This makes the process of receiving funds simple and transparent, without the need for additional actions.
Earlier, the HTX crypto exchange announced the start of the selection stage for participants in a unique raffle - a $6 millionspace flight as part of the Mars Mission initiative.
