The Garantex exchange promises to return blocked assets to clients
The Russian cryptocurrency exchange Garantex has announced that it will compensate clients for all funds blocked by the decision of the U.S. authorities. This was reported by the platform's press service.

To retrieve their savings, clients need to personally visit the Garantex office in Moscow. For those for whom this option is not suitable, the exchange's team has promised to "deploy a secure technical solution in the near future."
"Compensation terms will be offered to users individually," Garantex stated.
The exchange indicated that 2.5 billion rubles in crypto assets, blocked by the U.S. Secret Service, are unavailable to them. They intend to compensate for these using assets "located within the territory of the Russian Federation."
Previously, the U.S. Secret Service announced that it controls domains and assets of Garantex worth over $26 million.
