Global Ledger reported that the operators of the Russian cryptocurrency exchange Garantex have launched a new platform for cryptocurrency trading called Grinex. This information is mentioned in the company's analytical report.

It is known that the new exchange has already processed transactions worth about $36 million and continues to operate from Russia. According to the report, the founders of Garantex created Grinex seven days after the collapse of the previous exchange's business. The analysis of blockchain transactions showed large transfers of A7A5 ruble stablecoins from Garantex to addresses associated with Grinex.
Global Ledger also pointed out the identical interfaces of the two platforms.
Previously, the U.S. Secret Service announced that it controls Garantex domains and assets worth more than $26 million. The crypto exchange stated that it will compensate clients for all funds blocked by U.S. authorities.
