The first "cryptocurrency ball" in history will be held in Washington
On Friday, January 17, before the inauguration process of elected U.S. President Donald Trump, the first "cryptocurrency ball" in history will take place in Washington. This was reported by the BBC.

The event will be held at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium. Many prominent figures from the crypto industry are invited to the ball. Tickets for the "cryptocurrency ball" were sold in two categories: gold tickets cost $2,500, and black tickets cost $5,000. The gold tickets have already been sold out.
The organizer of the ball is BTC INC, which collaborated with projects such as Stand With Crypto, Exodus, Anchorage Digital, and Kraken. Sponsors of the event include Coinbase (NASDAQ:COIN), Sui, Mysten Labs, Metamask, Galaxy, Ondo, Solana, Microstrategy, and many others. According to media reports, Donald Trump is unlikely to attend the event.
Earlier, analysts from the web service TradingView concluded that the current position of Bitcoin is most similar to the market structure recorded in 2014-2017, which potentially opens up the opportunity for the cryptocurrency to reach the $200,000 mark.
