FBI named the culprits behind the Bybit hack
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) reported that the hackers responsible for the breach of the cryptocurrency exchange Bybit are part of the North Korean group TraderTraitor, also known as Lazarus Group, APT38, BlueNoroff, and Stardust Chollima. The agency issued this information through a press release.

According to the FBI's report, 51 Ethereum network addresses related to the group were identified. The FBI recommended that all companies and investors refrain from interacting with these wallets. Part of the stolen assets from the exchange were converted into Bitcoin and distributed across thousands of addresses in different networks.
It is expected that the stolen funds will be laundered and eventually converted from crypto assets to fiat currency.
Earlier, crypto detective ZachXBT reported that the hack had led to the loss of over $1.46 billion from Bybit's accounts. The CEO of the platform, Ben Zhou, confirmed the information about the hack.
