DOGE entered the top three popular cryptocurrencies for mining in Russia.
The memecoin DOGE entered the top-3 most popular cryptocurrencies for mining in Russia. This was reported by deputy Anton Gorelkin, citing data from ROCIT.
According to research, the memecoin accounted for 8.4% of the total cryptocurrency mining, second only to Bitcoin (49.4%) and Litecoin (11.1%). DOGE is particularly popular due to its support for merged mining with "digital silver" LTC, making the coin mining process more profitable.
According to Gorelkin, there is currently a development in the regulation system for cryptocurrency mining in Russia. The first register of operators (ROMI) already has 98 participants, and the second (RMCV) has 563 entities. In April, miners need to submit their tax reports for the first time.
Earlier, we reported that the company "Rosseti" is exploring various options to load its capacities by developing mining.
