Previously, working with digital assets was limited to requirements for exchange platforms, but now the regulations cover a wider range of crypto business participants. As noted by the head of the Central Bank of Armenia, Martin Galstyan, the innovations will not affect the technological side of cryptocurrencies but will focus only on financial aspects. Companies engaged in the issuance and trading of crypto assets are now required to disclose information about owners and comply with minimum capital requirements.

The procedures for issuing cryptocurrencies will also be simplified, which will help mitigate a number of risks.

Earlier, the head of Morocco’s Central Bank, Abdellatif Jouahri, stated that the country’s authorities want to lift the ban on digital asset transactions.
