Coinbase allowed to expand its services for clients in Argentina
One of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in the US, Coinbase, has received permission from the relevant authorities in Argentina to expand the range of its services in the country. This was reported by the platform's press service.

In particular, the National Securities Commission of Argentina (CNV) has allowed the exchange to register as a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP), which will enable the platform to offer additional services to clients, including payments using the Argentine peso.
Coinbase entered the Argentine market in April 2019, when the regulator prohibited the exchange from using fiat currencies in digital asset conversion operations. Now, Coinbase can operate within the country's legal framework and intends to expand its range of services for crypto investors.
Earlier, we reported that the US-based crypto exchange Coinbase launched a service for providing bitcoin-backed loans through the decentralized platform Morpho.
