Analyst predicts Ethereum's supremacy over bitcoin

Analyst and founder of MN Trading, Michael van de Poppe, stated that in January 2025, the cryptocurrency Ethereum could surpass Bitcoin, which would trigger an altcoin rally in the Ethereum ecosystem. He shared this on social media.

According to the specialist, all indicators suggest that there is a high chance for the ETH/BTC exchange rate to break the level of 0.4 observed on December 8. Van de Poppe is confident that this will be driven by inflows into Ethereum and outflows from Bitcoin. The consolidation of the first cryptocurrency's quotes will act as a catalyst for the demand for altcoins within the Ethereum ecosystem.

Many experts believe that the success of ETH-ETFs could propel the second-largest cryptocurrency to a new all-time high.
