Trader Score $1,200 to Attend Trump Gala Dinner
TRUMP memecoin buyer Morten Christensen and four friends received an invitation to a gala dinner with US President Donald Trump, spending only about $1,200 on fees, Bloomberg reports.

To qualify for the guest list, they had to hold at least $54,500 worth of TRUMP tokens over the last three weeks. However, Christensen and his team found a clever way to do this: they bought the tokens before the qualification period began, while simultaneously opening short positions for an equivalent amount through futures platforms. After their names were officially added to the guest list, they sold the tokens, closed their short positions, and ended up with almost no money left, losing only trading fees.
"We thought it would be cheap to enter, so we gave it a try and won," Christensen said.
He himself first bought TRUMP in January 2025, literally an hour after the token was launched. That weekend, he sold his coins for a 30x profit, but then returned to the asset for the chance to have dinner with the president. At the time of the qualification, Christensen held $250,000 in tokens in his wallet, taking 188th place on the leaderboard under the nickname Aird. This allowed him to get a ticket to the event, which will take place in May 2025.
Recall that on May 11, 2025, a major investor known as a “crypto whale” redistributed his assets - he sold $9.9 million in TRUMP tokens associated with US President Donald Trump and purchased $16 million in the Pepe (PEPE) memecoin through futures contracts.
