Brave Browser Announces Support for Cardano Crypto Asset
The Brave browser, known for its commitment to privacy and blockchain technology, has announced support for the digital asset Cardano (ADA) in its native wallets, Cointelegraph reports.

Now, ADA token holders can directly manage their funds through a browser interface. The new feature update is the result of a collaboration between Brave and Input Output (IO), the developer of Cardano. The integration opens up access to blockchain-based dapps and DeFi tools, which should help drive user interest in the platform.
“This is an important step towards multi-chain accessibility that expands user choice rather than limits it,” said Brave CEO Brendan Eich.
The ADA integration is just one part of a larger strategy: Brave plans to develop compatibility with Midnight , a new sidechain from IO, developed by subsidiary Shielded Technologies. Midnight adds support for private smart contracts to Cardano, which hide transaction metadata.
Robert Roose, founder of the Mynth protocol, noted that the addition of Cardano to Brave is a “key step to scaling the ecosystem.” He also added that users can now interact with dapps directly from the browser, without the need for third-party wallets. Brave has long supported crypto wallets and works with popular blockchains such as Ethereum and Solana. The new Cardano integration puts the browser at the center of a multi-chain ecosystem, where users can move freely between networks and applications without losing control of their assets.
